Attorney Jason D. Cohn has handled hundreds of personal injury cases, from minor to catastrophic.  Mr. Cohn graduated from the University of Southern California in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in business administration.  In 1997, Mr. Cohn graduated cum laude from Whittier Law School, where he was actively involved in the Whittier Moot Court Honors Board, was an editorial member of the Whittier Law Review, and received the nationally-acclaimed American Jurisprudence award in Bankruptcy.

During the beginning of his career, Mr. Cohn worked as an associate attorney, both prosecuting and defending a variety of types of cases, including, but not limited to, highly complex corporate and business litigation and catastrophic personal injury defense.   In 2003, after his father, who was also an attorney, passed away, Mr. Cohn decided to begin his own solo practice, emphasizing in plaintiff’s personal injury law.  Mr. Cohn has successfully handled several high profile cases, including numerous wrongful death and serious injury cases. He has also represented victims of sexual assault and abuse in civil actions against their perpetrators, and numerous other cases resulting in traumatic bodily injury.

Mr. Cohn is an active member of the California and Orange County Bar Associations, and is licensed to practice in all California Courts and nearly all California Federal District Courts.  Mr. Cohn also sits as a temporary judge for Los Angeles County courts, and has also been a guest lecturer at the University of Southern California.

Attorney Saar Swartzon has assisted trial counsel and acted as lead trial counsel on many successful verdicts and settlements.  In 1995, Mr. Swartzon graduated from the University of Southern California, cum laude, with honors, with a Bachelor of Arts in political science.  In 1998, Mr. Swartzon obtained his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Southwestern University School of Law, graduating near the top of his class, where he was a member of the Interscholastic Trial Advocacy Team, winning two national trial competitions. Mr. Swartzon was also an editor on Southwestern University School of Law’s Law Journal.   Mr. Swartzon also obtained the American Jurisprudence Book Award in contracts and the CALI Excellence for the Future award in alternative dispute resolution.  

Mr. Swartzon has a great deal of experience in complex litigation, toxic torts and cases involving catastrophic injuries. In October 2004, Mr. Swartzon helped obtain a $36 million jury verdict on behalf of a mesothelioma victim against large, corporate defendants.  The verdict was later named the 48th largest verdict in the United States for 2004 by the National Law Journal, Top 100 Verdicts. 

Mr. Swartzon has been certified as a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, recognized as one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States.  Membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts, awards and settlements.  Fewer than 1% of United States lawyers are members.

Mr. Swartzon is an active member of the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles, American Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and numerous other bar associations and organizations.  Mr. Swartzon is admitted to practice law in all District Courts of California and is also licensed to practice in Illinois. Mr. Swartzon is currently an associate adjunct professor of trial advocacy at Southwestern University School of Law.
